TEDXPerth 2014 in review

Biomimicry

Saturday 4th October at the Perth Concert Hall played host to the TEDXPerth 2014 event, which Sustaining People discussed a short while ago. Hamish Jolly (pictured above) was a crowd favourite for the day, with a particularly relevant talk about biomimicry and his shark-repellant wetsuit. The clear stand out for us, however, was Ernesto Sirolli, although Peter Newman and Adam Johnson presented some thought provoking ideas.

Another fellow WA blogger, Charlie Gunningham discussed his thoughts about Ernesto’s performance, and his thoughts on one of the other speakers. Have a read of Charlie’s post, and if you have your own thoughts from the event, please let us know in the comments below!

All in all, Sustaining People thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, and you will be able to watch all the 2014 talks soon, at the new TEDXPerth Website. We have been assured that they will be available for viewing very shortly.

We’re looking forward to TEDXPerth 2015 and hope to see you there!
