This is the introductory post for a new blog exploring the growing world of sustainability within human resources. Over the coming posts I hope to share insights from around the world about the role that sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) plays in the corporate HR space.
This is an opportunity to acknowledge industry leaders, current trends, and to understand the significant impact that HR practitioners can have on the world around them. I would also like to use this blog as a place to create awareness about the importance of the HR process in our world, and how it can contribute to the long term economic, social and environmental welfare of our community and the organisations that operate within it.
Whilst I am a young professional who is still learning his craft, I hope to share some of my own insight and thoughts along the way. I hope this exercise can be a collaborative one, and welcome any constructive commentary or suggestions for posts that may be appropriate.
